Carpenter

Job Overview:

The Carpenter will work under the supervision of experienced carpenters and learn to install, maintain, and repair wooden structures, including frameworks, walls, roofs, and decks. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced carpenters with the installation, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans
• Measure and cut materials to the required specifications
• Operate power and hand tools, including saws, drills, and hammers
• Erect scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some experience in carpentry, construction, or a related field preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
